The President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine An. Tassoulas met with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright on the margins of the Three Seas Initiative Summit in Dubrovnik.
Mr. Tassoulas and Mr. Wright emphasized that Greece is emerging as an important energy hub in the wider region. More specifically, they discussed Greek-U.S. cooperation as reflected in the effort to implement the Vertical Corridor, as well as our country’s particular contribution to planning for the energy security of Southeastern Europe.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Stavros N. Papastavrou and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ηaris Theoharis.
