The President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine An. Tassoulas sent a condolence message to the King of Spain Felipe VI, expressing on behalf of the Greek people and himself personally his sincere condolences for the victims of yesterday’s railway accident in Andalusia.
In his condolence message Mr. Tassoulas states:
“I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic railway accident that occurred yesterday in Spain, resulting in the loss of many lives and the injury of numerous others.
On behalf of the Hellenic Republic and the Greek people, I wish to convey to Your Majesty, to the people of Spain and to the families of the victims my deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy. Our thoughts are also with those who were injured, to whom I wish a swift and full recovery”.
