The President of the Hellenic Republic Constantine An. Tassoulas, expressed with his message to the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the deepest condolences of the Greek people and himself personally to the families of the victims of the tragic accident on the “Gloria” funicular railway car in Lisbon. Mr. Tassoulas wished a speedy recovery to the injured and emphasized to his counterpart that Greece stands in solidarity with the friendly people of Portugal.
